Speaker options for original AM radio?

I installed an original AM radio. I just got a replacement antenna, so I wired everything up. The radio is getting power, because the light to the display comes on when I turn the radio on. Unfortunately, there's no sound. I would suspect the original speaker is shot.

The problem now, is that I checked Brothers and LMC, but the speakers they sell for that spot are stereo. Can I even wire those up to this radio? If so, how?

Any other options? I want to keep this radio and stock type setup. I don't want a different unit, additional unit, speakers mounted in a non original spot, etc.
