NV4500 Swap Q's

Currently: 1972 3/4t 4x4 350ci SM465 w/205, 4.11 gears, keeping stock height, frame off resto now

I found a GM 94 NV4500, 5th gear fix, w/ 6.xx 1st gear w/OEM ext. slave bellhousing and 32 spline 241c T-case. ~$850

My driving will be 95% Road/Hwy and 5% off-road. I want a nice DD on snow/ice with occasional N. Idaho light off road.

My questions being:

1. I'd like to save money and use OEM ext. slave bellhousing, can i do it with my use you think?
2. Is the 241 a better choice than 208, I have the option for either
3. Is the older style gear ratio a huge negative for road driving w/ the 350ci? I cannot find a new one to save my life!
4. I'll be going to a hydro clutch can I use the 73+ mc/slave
5. Hows price?
6. Or should I just do a Gear Vendors overdrive for the 465??

I've googled this to death and need just a tad more input on these issues, thanks!!
