I am at the point of deciding to use my original wiring or buying a kit to rewire the whole truck. Im not changing but one thing. Probably going to go with a one wire alternator. I may change to a 700r4 in the future. I have a small block and am running an original gauge cluster. I see that Classic Parts offers made up harnesses. I am confident i could tackle a universal kit, but don't know if i need to go that route. Anyone that used a universal kit, pros, cons? Who's kit did you use?
