I agree with this also. I've paid more than what things are worth or going for just because availability was low. FWIW, 5.3L in Dallas are going for $450 and 4L60's going for $500-600. These are all take outs with anywhere from 90-100K miles. That is not a lot of miles on these motors. All of us would like lower mileage motors, but that doesn't always translate into a healthier motor. Food for thought.
