Gas Gage Float...alternatives???
I need to find a good replacement for the gas gage float on my 1960 GMC, and I'm trying to avoid going to the auto parts store for this. I was wondering what has been successfully used as a float....I just discovered that the little bottle of bubbles that you can get at the dollar store (they're about the size of a testors model paint bottle) lasts about 5 months.
