Suggestions for replacing gas line from tank to carb
I just got done replacing the trans cooler lines in my 72 and while I was under there I noticed my gas lines are in rough shape, they've been bent up and the hose is getting old. The line from the pump to the carb is trash, rubbing against the block on its way up. Anyway I want to replace it all and was looking for any tips before I get into it. What do I have to look forward to? I also noticed an extra line against the frame, its right below the bottom rad hose, it has cooling coils around it and it's not connected to anything and ends near the back of the cab, it has the remnants of a broken rubber hose on the end. Any idea what this may be? Thanks for any suggestions!
