Re: what to do about my neighbor
I have a different perspective. I was that neighbor who went down the street after the A-hole who WAS hot roding his Chevel down the street doing burn outs and generally going WAY too fast on a 25MPH street.
I went out to the street and asked him once very nicely with a cold brew in my hand to please refrain, my son plays outside and if he was to get close, I doubt I could remain civil. The next time, I walked 4 houses down to his house and TOLD him what I wanted and that I would call the cops if he felt that I was bluffing. the last time, I called the cops with video in my hand, the neighbor 5 houses down is a lawyer and he threw a law suite on him, along with the 4 or 5 tickets the cops gave him, he learned his lesson I guess. he now has his hot rods at a shop a few miles away. Now, so you know, I have a loud exhaust on my truck, but I idle down the street until I get on the main drag and then I run her up. We have alot of kids in our neighborhood and I dont want to see one hurt because of a show off.
