Re: Macco Paint?
A friend of mine years ago figured out Maaco paint jobs.So ha claims. He has had a couple (at least) done by them.He and another guy did the bodywork and final sanding. He started by talking with them about a year before he had the work done.Once in a while,he would stop by on Fri with a 12 pack for the painters and shop guys and shoot the breeze about paint. When he delivered the project,it had no trim, windows,or anything else and he had the edge taping done.He also had roller wheels on it.No interior.Neither of the ones I saw him get done were show quality but neither was over a grand. He didn't go for the cheapie but didn't pay for the premium paint job either. He did color sand and buff at least one but both were pretty nice for the money. He took a case of beer when he went to pick it up.
