water in the oil

I got a engine from "a friend of a friend", 78 350 with 60 k mikes. had it for about a year, and just got around to putting it in. before I put it in I changed the heads, got it in, put in the new oil, filter, coolant, etc. fired it up, ran great. shut it off to readjust the rocker arms, and found milky oil, I had put on new head gaskets, heads were rebuilt. I pulled out the spark plugs, and water was in 6,and 8 cyl. pulled the intake and head off, looked good. put it all back together, changed the oil and filter, and it fired right up,runs great. again milky oil, must be a cracked block, my question... do any of these block/head crack repair solutions at the parts store work ?
