Vibration Resolved and rear end questions

Hey Guys,

71 K10, sm465/np205; was fighting a driveline vibration when coasting at 55+mph. bit the bullet and took the driveshafts to the shop last week. Both were roached, splines on the slip yokes were shot. 2 new driveshafts and the vibration is gone. R and S spring in Bladensburg, MD did the shafts. Very nice work.

Of course now I notice a large amount (maybe 10 deg or so) of rotational play in the pinion yoke on the rear end. So I'm thinking the gearset is getting a little worn.

What are my options here? What rear is in this truck from the factory? 12 bolt? I don't offroad so I'm really thinking a rebuilt stock rear maybe with some aftermarket axles would be the way to go. Any other options for a relatively easy upgrade where I could keep my 6 lug wheels?

Thanks!
