What would you do?

just picked up my 71 SWB and im wanting to get some wheels and lower it asap. Here is my situation. I plan on working some o.t. this winter to save up for all of my porterbuilt suspension with the plans of an early spring install. I just have an itch to do something now so i can enjoy it this summer. I have $1,500 on hand right now and was wondering what you guys think I should do. Should i buy my wheels and tires and do a 5.5/7 static drop now or should i skip the whole coil spring thing and buy spindles and a cheap bag set up. I figure at least i could still use the bags once i get my PB stuff, but if i go the spring route ill have basically wasted 200 bucks on springs that i wont be able to use once i do go with PB suspension on air. I just need some help guys. Can i get as low as a 5.5/7 static with just spindles and bags and blocks?? Help me figure out the best way to spend this money. New to this game so i need some help.
