Not ready to throw in the towel yet. 5.3 ?

I want to make this short
I'm out the driveway and find out I have a broke piston ???? Previous owner miss up

Well now I'm shopping for a 5.3. I found one 2006 5.3 with 70000 miles complete pull out running for 1,200 I been reading for a few days and there's a lot of good info but too much confuses the crap out of me lol. 1st with the mounts. A bunch of different ways to go with if I can buy the right ones instead of making would be great I don't mind going forward or backwards as long my tran fits where it suppose too and if dont have to trim or cut the frame would be great but don't mind if I have to Ima try to pull as much stuff as I can off the truck. Are there any pros or cons that any one can help me out or make sure I grab Thx for any help
