What does all this technical gibberish on a rebuilt truck mean??
As some of you know, I do not speak engine the way some of you do.
Below is a copy and paste of the description of a truck I want to bid on. The builder has only done 2 test miles with it. It had amongst others a rebuilt Turbo 400 gearbox, means nothing to me. So my question to the mechanically minded on here is...... are these mods etc all good, or am I looking for trouble, if I should export the truck to England where the same support and knowledge for these trucks does not exist. As always, any advice and comments greatly appreciated. The truck has a $14500 Buy It Now price tag. This is a 1965 c-10 short bed chevy pick up, has a rebuilt 350 small block, 4 bolt main bored 0.60, speed pro pistons, lunati .465 camshaft and lifters, 062 vortec heads, clevit bearings, lunati timing set, all new apr hardware, rebuilt turbo 400 tranny with b&m shift kit and torque converter, all new bushings in front A-arms, new ball joint, shocks, springs and brake lines, blasted and painted frame new oak wood and stainless strips in the bed and new stainless hardware, new wire harness threw out the whole truck and not a cheap 13 circuit jobs, it was a 500 dollar kit and will come with all the schematic's , all new power brake update with rotors, calipers, master cylinder and proportioning valve, all new lines, new fuel tank that mounts under the rear of the bed , new power steering update with new steering gear box, pump and lines, recovered seat, new carpet, and door panels, all new chrome bumpers, bezels etc, paint is about a 7 out of 10, has a few bad spots but not to noticeable, have lots of pics if you want or new more just email me, i spent 12,000 in parts alone, runs and drive great, had the new windshield installed on Tuesday.
