Sounds like you and I did almost the same thing. I was going to install a vortec f.i. 5.7 but then decided to build the engine as carbureted but never have finished building it up. As it stands now the heads are back on it and it has new rings, bearings, freeze plugs, has been honed out by the machine shop and the crank was polished. I have reassembled most of it but never have decided on a cam to go with so its just sitting on the engine stand. But it looks good sitting there. I would still like to finish the engine and put it in the truck but just don't have the heart to put the money into it just to sale all of it. my paint was done about three years ago and since hen its gotten a few scratches but its still nicer than it was when I bought it.. A thousand times nicer. I guess I will go ahead and list it on the site and see where it goes.
