John I was thinking about this and then remembered that the bracket of the idle stop solenoid is also attached by a bolt. So, do you have a bracket/screw you can use to test for stability on the 7042902 CA emissions carb (if you still have it)? I'd strongly consider it if the bracket is tight and not wobbly. Also, any interest in a partial trade for a Q-jet correct for a 1968 327 motor with an auto trans or a 1971 Q-jet correct for a 4 spd? Both of these Q-jets are non-CA emissions. Thanks, Pete
