even replacing a starter has to be a pain! help!

alright i had a sticking solenoid on my starter and i put a new starter in, hooked up everything, and the last thing was the little ground for the solenoid. and woudn't you F****** know it, the ground is a fraction too small to go over the end of the threads on the solenoid. so WTF do i do now, its not like i can make the hole wider that easy, its wired on the truck. i even tried tapping the ground over the threads to try and get enough threads showing to get the nut started, and i couldnt do it!

FML i hate reproduction ****, its always off by a little bit.
