balancer id

i picked up a 235 engine and ran the numbers. it shows a 53 block with a 56-62 head. witch i read is a common swap of the day. my problem is that the balancer is loose and needs replaced. is their a way to id it and make sure it also a 53 or is their even a differance? its a single groove and messures 6in round. thanks
