4.3l questions - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm back... I found and I am going to look at an 08 LS 4.3 2wd rcsb 4speed automatic with 29k miles on it and would like to know if there is anything in particular I should look for or be aware of during the test drive tomorrow? Other than it being a V6? I am looking for a truck that gets somewhat decent mileage but yet still able to haul trash to the dump od do landscaping stuff around the house.

btw my current truck is an 88 sierra slx with 175xxx miles on it and I am tired of throwing money at it to keep it running. any advice will be greatly appreciated.
