Need help putting a location to this wire....
Subject truck is 72' C-10 with the 250/3OTT. I have a new engine harness that I bought from one of the vendors here on the forum. Its nicely built and looks really good. I have identified everything on the harness except for one wire. Its a large pink, looks like a 12G lead with a connector that is similar to an HEI but is not. I have been digging thru the schematics and the location or use has eluded me. My assessment is electric choke? The wire is wrapped into the section of the harness leading across the engine over to the points distributor. It makes sense but I expect to be wrong.

Its the double pink set, 2nd from the right on the top row. http://i1291.photobucket.com/albums/...ps27a470d6.jpg What is it and can it be repurposed to supply power for an HEI distributor? This harness is so simple yet this one lead has been bugging me. Thanks in advance. 88Ironduke
