New '53 Owner and Member

I just found out there was a welcome area. I bought a '53 4400 1 1/2 ton Chevy the other day for $550. I took the previous owner's word that it runs because I mainly bought it for the body. The body is pretty straight except for some pretty bad rust on the bottom of the doors. It did come with a couple extra doors that are in better shape (pictured on flatbed). The brakes don't work but I hope to get them fixed so I can at least drive it around a bit as is. I plan to eventually put the body on a later model 4X4 Chevy frame and running gear.
