BTW, rebuilding the shifter is super simple and costs $18. I bought the shim kit from this guy:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/67-68-69-70-...f1710c&vxp=mtr You only need a 9/16" and 5/8" wrench or socket and a flathead screwdriver to do it and it took me about 10 mins to do it. It is a night and day difference and does not feel sloppy anymore.
