As far as the wheels having different distances, Ive seen this a few times. a few things to check: measure the backspacing of each wheel, count the number of shims used on the upper control arm to see if they are close, check the u bolts that hold the lower control arm in place (make sure they are tight) and measure the thickness of both rotors to see if they are the same. another thing you should do is measure from the rotor to the frame on each side.
