Alternative rear susp - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

As you can see by my tci 4 link thread, I'm having problems. I'd like something a little stouter so has anyone ran a ladder bar, coil over type rear susp? I'm not talking pro street, I'm going for a 295/50 or whatever I can get under it with stock frame. I don't want to have to raise the bed much, and there will be no bags. I have the tci coil overs, just looking for something that won't break the bank. Also, with no bed right now, can I go with the 116 WB and the tire will center in the rear fender?
