Joined the site recently from a recommendation from Tanman6983 ( a buddy of mine who built his truck http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=585800 )Decided to go ahead with the full membership since I found so much great knowledge here. My dad finally handed down the C20 that was in our family since 1975 to me. It's been sitting in the driveway under a cypress tree for the past 10 years. I have replaced the interior with misc parts, radiator support and other rusted out parts so I can drive it. I ended up doing all new brakes and front suspension since anything that could be lubed was blown! I have not even gotten to the rusted out rockers! Man it sounds like work, but it is a member of the family and I'm happy to finally get it back together.
Here are a couple pics. I just recently had one of my friends buff it out in trade for some work on his truck. Hopefully I will be able to do some rust repair work on it soon before I will be Fred flintstone and walking on the ground when the floorpan rots through! Start Now
