Drop Spindle....?

I am between the LMC drop spindle and the CPP modular drop spindle,

The LMC is 259$
2.5 inch drop
Uses stock joints and tierod
One piece design where caliper bolts
Claims to narrow track width 3/4" each side?

The CPP #CP30106-4 is 299$
2 inch drop
Uses stock joints and tierod
Claim to narrow the track width at least 1 1/8" between both sides
Uses a bracket to mount brakes that cost 75$ additionally...

If anyone has used the LMC spindle and can confirm that it actually does provide the additional tire clearance please comment because it seems to be the better deal especially when I have a gift card to Lmc but just not sure if I can trust there measurements bc I haven't been able to speak to anyone with them that can actually talk about there spindles...
