Well folks, just an update - I held out and wound up picking up a 72. Just figured I was better off getting something where it would be easy to find parts since I wanted to drive it pretty often and not get too deep into a project. Here's what I found:

I do feel like these farmers out here in the Palouse region and high desert may still have a few decent trucks for sale that aren't as available in other parts of the country because of moisture issues. Still it is tough to find any of the old ones in a factory 4x4.
