Ring gear bolt question

With a stock 8 7/8-inch 12-bolt rearend fitted to a 1971 Chevrolet C-10 truck, are the ring gear bolts a traditional style or reverse-thread? (In other words, to tighten the ring gear bolts do you turn them in a clockwise direction?)

The reason why I ask is my dad just rebuilt the rearend on his 1958 Corvette and found out the hard way that the ring gear bolts were reverse-thread … which resulted in one of the bolts being broken off.
