I ground my own tires with my 4 1/2" grinder and my air die grinder with a buffing pad. They came out pretty good for the first time and it took about 20 minutes a tire, patience is the key don't get in a hurry. I went to the junkyard and got 4 nice hercules for $100. Grinding wheels $12. 2 1/4" whitewall priceless
