setting up the edelbrock

so I replaced my 750 qjet carb with a 600cfm edelbrock the question I have is
I know one of the vacuum lines is timed I think this is for the distributor and the other constant after setting it up I noticed my aircon is not working now I connected the vac lines from the ball type item on my left side fire wall (looking in to the bay) to the constant vac outlet and the dissy to the timed is this correct

the air con worked well before the swap so have I put the vac lines in the wrong place any help would be great
