Trac Bar help........

I'm lowering my 1964 c10 5-inches in the rear. I installed the new lowering springs and shock re-locate brackets. Since I have a 1969 12-bolt rear end with the trac bar stud mounted on top of the pumpkin, I ordered the adjustable trac bar for the 1965-69 c10 truck. When I installed the trac bar, it appears that the angle is off a bit and the bracket on the driver's side of the frame where the trac bar fastens to needs to be back about another inch or so? I'm assuming the 1964 C10 and 1965 C10 frames are the same and the location of the trac bar bracket on the driver's side rear frame rail are in the same position?? If i put a load on the suspension, the trac bar will slightly hit the stock differential cover? Is this normal or do I need to relocate the frame bracket?
