spindle/hub problem????

Need help. I have a 69 1/2 ton C-10 and have spent all day trying to fine front wheel seal and inner bearings.
The hub is a 6 lug and surely must not be a 69. When I went to autozone the seal they had was too big in dia. Then when they did find one to work it was for a 72 3/4 ton........but it did work. Once I got the seal in and tried to install on the spindle the bearing would not go. It's a nates hair too small. I even tried some force and it would not go. After going to three different stores no one could help me find the right bearing.........and we tried about 4 different ones. The outter bearing appears that it will work so one store used it to try to determine what I had and everything pointed in the direction of what they had been offering.
THe only number on the hub is a "2".
Any idea what I may have? I would really appreciate any help to get me past the dump-A ...feeling I have right now. Feel free to question me more.
Thanks
