My '66 Longbed Fleet Work Truck

Well guys, this was a pretty quick build for me. I bought this truck in December of 2012. It looked like this. Notice the excessive use of tire dressing.

Then I threw a set of smoothies on it for the summer.

I just used this as my work truck. I didn't really care where I parked it or whatever. I never locked it, actually, I didn't get a key for the locks when I bought it. Then in July, I got the call... "Jeff, we need an old pickup for SEMA."

So off to the body shop she went. This is how she looked when I got her back in late August...

I now had 2 months to turn it into a show stopper.

I did it. I finished the truck Saturday morning... No sleep, went home, showered and the test drive was a 270 mile road trip to Vegas for the SEMA Show. Here's the end result.

The Interior. I had the stock seat built up and emulated a European Range Rover pattern on the seats. We pulled the windshield and wrapped the dash in leather as well.

My dressed up 350, with a MSD Atomic EFI setup and a US Radiator and a few other goodies.

I Line-X'd the bed and installed a BedWood kit, which I stained a light cedar to match the interior.

These are currently 1 of 2 sets of these in existence. American Racing will be making these under the new Max Grundy line of custom wheels. These 2 piece wheels have chrome centers and brushed lips. These are 20x8.5.
