Re: 84 K10, Not Getting Gas? Won't Run.

I had the same fuel starve problem with my 80 C10. When cold i would put a splash of fuel down the carb and it would start no problem. Id warm the truck up then drive 200 yards down the road and it would stall, fuel lines would be bone dry and could never start again until the next morning. It was the oddest thing. I replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, rubber hoses and removed the fuel pickups to have a look. After doing that i started it with the fuel caps off, the dual tank solanoid bypassed and running from a single tank with brand new fuel and i thaught it fixed the problem until i got out onto the freeway and gave it some gas... same thing happened!

Now im currently setting up an electric fuel pump with return style regulator, 1/2" lines and a fuel cell in the bed behind the cab. Im also going to purchase a new carb so the fuel system is 100% new. If that doesnt fix it i dont know what will!

Im interested in what the soulution your problem is. Best of luck!
