Clutch might have gone south of the border, truck shudders when shifting.

Alright, driving home last night the truck decides to take longer to gain speed as I'm going through my gears. It seems to want to shudder between 2nd, 3rd and 4th while shifting and take a slower time to gain my speed. I have an sm420 backed up to a 292 I6. Thinking either the throw out bearing is going out, pressure plate is acting up or old age is finally taking its toll on the old girl. Any suggestions on what is causing the problem? Much obliged for advice fellas.
