Question TH400 detent kickdown wiring requirements?

I changed out a TH350 for a TH400 on the restoration. The TH 400 has an electric detent kickdown solenoid that I have mounted to the accellerator pedal assembly.

There are two electrical tabs on the switch on the pedal.
There is one electrical tab on the driver side of the TH400.

Can someone provide the cabling requirements for the kickdown switch?

Also, on the passenger side of the transmission there is a gold cadnium plated part with a male tube fitting and a screw in the center of the opening. This looks like a vacuum tube fitting, but I would like to verify this? What does the screw do?

Thanks, Greg.
