Sticky throttle linkage.
Picked up a 1968 C10 Suburban and as I was going through things checking it out I found that the throttle linkage was sticking and not returning closed. The previous owner had installed an Edelbrock carb and manifold and had adapted the linkage the best they could.
![]() This had to go. I made up a new section of linkage with a rod end and a custom billet mount to connect to the carb. ![]() I connected the new linkage to about 3" of the old linkage so the connection to the pedal was as it was originally. I may redo it and put rod ends at both ends. But this seems to be working splendidly. ![]()
