Trick to installing inlinetube stainless lines?

Im working on installing the inlinetube kit on my 72 k20 long bed. I should have taken photos as I was tearing this part of the truck apart but my thought was "its only brake lines, how hard can they be?".

So, should the lines run in the top of the frame, middle, or lower. Ive been trying to get the front to rear line knstalled but it just doesnt seem to want to sit right or look good however i position it. There are so many holes that I forgot what holes were for the brake line clamps after powder coating. The new line is extremely close to being exactly the same as the old line, so I don't think its a poor product, but a poor operator lol.

Ive Been looking through the assembly manual I purchased but that book is horrible to navigate, no rhyme or reason to the order of pages, an no table of contents to what page you need for whatever you are working on.

If you guys have any hints or even better some pictures of the way the brake lines should run I would greatly appreciate it.
