Question about clearance

For those of you have lowered your trucks at least 2" in the back AND have standard fleetside wheel housings, I have two questions:

What is your tire to wheel housing clearance?

Any issues with tire rub when you put some weight in the back?

I'm trying to get an idea of just how much clearance above the tire is necessary on my flatbed so they don't rub when I put a few hundred pounds in the back. The truck won't be lowered, but I want to put as little space between the tire and bed as possible and still use it. I HATE big tire gaps!

Maybe a better question is how much lower does a standard suspension 66 c10 drop with 500 or so pounds on it? The whole suspension will be new.

Thanks,
Steven
