Bagged Bodied and Track Ready? Best of both worlds.
I posted this in the 67-72 forum as well, someone suggested I ask/read over here.
-I have a 70 C10 that is bagged and I am a real performance guy. I am building an LS swap and should make about 650hp on motor. I am really torn and wanted to ask some suggestions. I love the look of bodied trucks, but I also want to get the power to the ground and track. I would like in the long run to run nitrous on the motor and get street slicks to put down good runs. -Is there a good way to have the best of both worlds? Can I body the truck and keep it bagged, but spruce up the frame and other suspension components to run at the dragstrip? I would like to have a ten second truck, and also body it with different wheels for weekend shows. Any thoughts? Thanks All. |
