1972 C1500 Handling Characteristics
Hi All,
I'm a new member to the forum and a new owner of a '72 GMC 1500 Super Custom. It's not meant to be a full restoration, just a fun hobby that keeps me busy on weekends. I'm curious about the steering. I know that it's 42 years old so my expectations need to be kept in check. How have you improved the steering and body roll on this model? Is there a way to tighten up the power steering? Would a sway-bar kit help? Springs? Shocks? I know it's not an F1 car, but some improvement to the steering and body roll would be good. Thanks! |
