Fuel gauge wire...? Location

It's been awhile since I've posted, over the last 2 months I've wrenched a new blueprint 355 engine into the truck. Lots of new parts etc.

I thought I had everything labeled and marked, well I've got one damn wire i didn't pay attention to.

It's pink in color, runs across the crossmember to the right side tank, but routes up towards the firewall. It has a small rubber junction and when separated one side has a pin.

My gas gauge pegs to the 3 o'clock no matter what tank I select, never had this problem before I tore everything apart. They always worked. The wife printed of some schematics for me and I just can't seem to figure it out.

It's a 1978 K10 with dual tanks short bed fleet side.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks much,
David.

I tried jumping the wire to both sides of the battery and that did nothing.
