Cheap floorboard fix

I was wandering through the woods looking for something to patch my floorboards with. I found some 3/8 steel plate that the military dumped...too thick, some RV siding that I took from a recycling center...too thin and then I came accross an old 55 gallon drum that should be just right. Hopefully I can flatten, cut and weld in some floorboard pieces and get my floors back in one piece within the next couple weeks as my schedule allows. If it works out I'll try to post pictures. I love inexpensive fixes.
