79 K5, 5.3 swap, F-Body Manifolds, Hydraulic clutch?

After some discussion, I have decided to run an SM465 behind my 5.3 swap in my K5 (when I get to it). I have a set of F-Body exhaust manifolds for my swap, but a friend told me he had heard of situations where the external slave cylinders on hydraulic clutch setups wouldn't work with the F-Body manifolds? Does anyone know this to be true or false? Anyone with experience in this, please comment!

Thanks!
