Tank Install Questions

I have what seems like a silly question.....but I'm going to ask anyway.

Is this the proper direction the tank should be facing? I always thought the pump and sump should face the rear so that gravity would push the gas towards it while driving??? Am I over thinking this?

Also, where are you guys purchasing your 3/8" EFI fuel line? How many feet did you purchase/need to route everything? Are you running a solid line at the firewall or rubber all the way to the rail? What additional fittings did you need and what size? I ordered this kit and just curious what I need now for the tank to the regulator and then the regulator to the fuel rail. Thanks
