inkslinger1964 Registered User Join Date: Dec 2014 Location: azle, texas Posts: 15	alternator 1964 chevy c10 with 283. New alternator and still does not seem to be charging battery. hooked up meter to battery and had 12.9 volts. started engine expecting it to rise and it fell to 12.5.
