Question Frame mounting? 1953 Chevy pickup on a 2001 gmc!!!!

Hello my name is Clarence and i am new to here! i have a question that i can use your guys help on. I am restoring a 1953 Chevrolet Pickup 5 window, and i was wanting to do a frame swap. I found that almost all the 1948-53 Chevrolet Pickups were on S10 frames, and could not get a hold of one that would work! But i bought a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 Short box, extended cab... It has a 5.3L with a automatic 4l60e transmission. I have no pictures of the 2001 gmc! I am trying to see if i can mount the 1953 Chevy Cab on the frame of the 2001 GMC and keep the engine and the transmission with most of the wiring(It is a base model.... No power locks, window, ect......) Has anyone done this body swap? And if so Please tell me any tips that will help me with my project!

Thankyou all for reading and i hope to have some feed back!
