Suburban "C" question

Are all "C" Suburbans trailing arm suspensions? If so, would that make the frame kick out at the back like the trucks? I am looking at buying a Suburban and I want to make it a 4x4. I have been looking at C20's at least so I get a 3/4 rear, but if the C20 is still trailing arm I guess I would need to get a 3/4 Truck frame and make that 4x4 and put my body on that?
