Need Advice on cab for 72

Just purchased a 1972 and new to these trucks. It seems to have many good parts but the cab (and probably doors) has so much rust it seems like it would be better to replace them. I have found a few good used cabs. I would like to know if all the 67 to 72 are viable replacement cabs or should I stay with 70-72 era? I am trying to use as much of the old truck as possible. What is the most practical solution? Thanks
