2.5" collector ramhorns on 2wd?

Drove the truck to work today and I think it's still leaking. Sooooo... it's ramhorns for me. Anyone used these on their truck: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Smooth...Raw,94194.html
They're 2.5" collector and dump straight down. My truck is 2wd, and my exhaust guy tells me to get these. How tight is the collector to the motor mount and starter? Looks like it would be a tight fit.
Anyone who has used these, any thoughts? Probably going to get them tomorrow if I do. Any feedback appreciated.
