JayDubBlazer go cyclones Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Ames, IA Posts: 1,883	Jack stand points for removing rear axel So I am removing my rear axel to rebuild my 43 year old axle. I was under there yesterday trying to place my jack stands and couldn't find a good place to put them that would still allow me to take my axle off. I have four jack stands but none of them reach the frame. How best to stage these, but still allow me to remove the axle.
